Homework for Monday: Do this reading carefully. Take some notes. I’ll check them on Monday. Almost all that you need to know about type for our class is in this reading. Read pgs. 36–63, excerpt from “Thinking with Type” and pg. 65, “Typography Rules!”

Wednesday, 9:05–11:00: Turn in your résumé assignment by the end of lab • if you finish early, and if you feel comfortable doing so, place your redesigned résumé on the table so we can all look at them together.

Monday, 9:05–9:55: Photoshop compositing assignment completed in class. I will give you the files. Use pages 200–205 of class packet. You may stop at Step 10.
Wednesday, 9:05–11:00: Color & go over story spread project
Homework: Prepare ideas, sketches, and images for your story spread and come to lab with a clear direction on Monday.
Week 10: Oct. 17
